I joined BuildGroup in 2021 to oversee the finance, compliance, operations, and investor relations functions. Prior to BuildGroup, I was the Executive Director of Finance at Peak Rock Capital, a middle-market private equity fund. I was a Manager in a large family office in New York, where I gained invaluable experience in managing family wealth and investments. I also worked at Goldman Sachs as an Equity Analyst covering public REIT stocks. My professional journey began at Deloitte in public accounting, and I am a CPA in New York State.

I enjoy exploring new cultures through travel, gourmet cooking, and music. I live in Austin with my husband and our two children, where we embrace the vibrant culture of the city.

I focus on sourcing new investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies for BuildGroup. My favorite element of the job is keeping up with the fast-paced nature of technological change, and identifying the opportunities that platform shifts present for founders to build ever-more-valuable products.

I previously worked at Hellman & Friedman in San Francisco, where I focused on $1B+ software buyout opportunities. Prior to Hellman & Friedman, I worked in consulting at Bain & Company in New York, where I partnered with clients in technology, financial services, private equity, and healthcare. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, mountain climbing, and organizing multi-day athletic competitions.

I am responsible for sourcing, investing, and supporting our portfolio companies. At BuildGroup, I continue my decade-long focus on partnering with founders and management teams of companies leveraging innovations to automate workflows and improve user experiences across industries. My journey began in investment banking, collaborating with growth-stage software startups and established players on transformative capital raises and M&A at Moelis & Company and KeyBanc Capital Markets.

I earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Williams College, where I was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team, and earned the CFA and CAIA charters. I live in the Boston suburbs with my wife and two daughters and enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and golfing. I am also an avid supporter of the Boston sports teams.

For me, joining BuildGroup was the perfect combination of becoming an investor while being able to help operators along their journey. Prior to BuildGroup, I worked in tech investment banking at Goldman Sachs. My favorite experience during my time there was working with Credit Karma, which was a unique opportunity to work with a founder that had built a multi-billion dollar business. This journey inspired my transition to the investing side. 

My role primarily centers on sourcing, diligence and deal execution, and providing support to our portfolio companies in any way I can. When I am not working, I love finding new trails to run, lifting weights, reading, going to the cinema and traveling to new places.

I am an Investment Associate at BuildGroup, and most recently served as Chief of Staff at Amelia, a BuildGroup portfolio company. I dove into the world of early-stage SaaS investing on Silicon Valley Bank’s enterprise software team, and joined BuildGroup to have a more active role in building these fascinating companies. 

When away from my desk, I remain true to my Californian roots, which means partaking in any water-related activity, such as surfing, water polo, scuba diving or swimming in the nearest body of water. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College, and my time in Vermont also nurtured my love for skiing and hiking.
